Job Summary:

The Emergency Room Nurse Manager oversees daily operations and staffing in the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role focuses on improving patient safety, clinical outcomes, and maintaining the department's standards of care through strong leadership and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

Oversee Emergency Room staffing and daily operations.
Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to staff nurses.
Conduct skill checks and performance evaluations.
Address patient, visitor, and physician complaints promptly.
Manage recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff.
Support continuous improvement of care delivery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
Monitor department performance and work towards unit goals.
Resolve operational and clinical challenges.
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Current RN licensure -Tennessee or a compact state.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.
1-3 years of clinical leadership experience required.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
BCLS certification .
