Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and advanced life support.
Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions to physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and co-workers.
Discharge Planning: Participate in the discharge planning process, ensuring a smooth transition for patients to the next level of care.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
