Jackson County Commission Deputy EMA Director Scottsboro, Alabama The Jackson County Commission will accept applications for the Deputy EMA Director position from December 11, 2024 - January 2, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
This employee assists the EMA Director concerning Emergency Management Operations for Jackson County. Responsibilities include:
Development and maintenance of various emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
Coordination of countywide activities of county response personnel.
Training programs.
Preparation of annual budget and monthly reimbursement requests.
Involves no standard working hours.
Starting pay is $19.55/hour.
Benefits include State Retirement, BCBS Health and Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Annual and Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays.
