Description

Job Summary: The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving continuous improvement and achieving organizational objectives.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives
Streamline and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Oversee daily operations, including resource allocation, workflow management, and task prioritization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and enhanced productivity
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational performance
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards
Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
Foster a positive and collaborative working environment to enhance team morale and productivity

Requirements

Essential qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a related field
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in operational management software and tools

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
Certification in operations management or a relevant field
Experience in implementing process improvements and operational best practices
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

Working conditions:

Work is typically performed in an office environment, with occasional visits to operational sites
Standard office hours, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work as needed
Travel may be required, depending on business needs and operational requirements

Physical requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform work on a computer
Occasional participation in on-site operational activities may be required
