Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care, an affiliate of Urgent Team, is seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our dynamic healthcare team. We have 9 locations throughout North Alabama and are committed to providing quality and affordable family healthcare.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic medical conditions. Full-time providers work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including weekday shifts and every-other weekend.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide convenient and friendly patient care
• Perform medical assessment, treatment, and management of clinic patients
• Perform medical procedures as needed
• Maintain clinical core competency
• Work with center leadership and other staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards
• Participate in development and presentation of education programs for staff
WHAT'S REQUIRED?- Two years of experience as a Provider
• State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
• Certification as an APRN through the AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
• DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• BLS certification
