Description Leido/Dynetics is seeking a talented Physical Security Specialist to join a diverse team of Security Professionals.
With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos/Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Primary Responsibilities -The selected candidate will interface with all levels of Leidos management and customer representatives to ensure contract security compliance with applicable security requirements.
• Responsible for assisting in the implementation of the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and with minimal direction and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Specific duties include:
• • Conduct administrative inquires related to possible security incidents and document results.
• Prepare Inquiry Reports on security infractions/violations and specifying preventive action to be taken.
Perform various employee security briefings/debriefings.
Brief leadership of security concerns/issues, verify security clearances/access levels for all employees and subcontractors.
Update security personnel access lists and databases accordingly -The selected candidate must be comfortable working in a high pace/dynamic environment.
• High standards of professionalism are essential, as well as the ability to operate under minimal supervision.
• The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
• The candidate must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contract and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information.
Basic Qualifications -High School and 4+ years of Industrial Security experience.
• Self-started with ability to work independently, customer service oriented.
• Commitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers -Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written -Candidate must be a US citizen and possess a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Preferred Qualifications -Preference will be shown for highly qualified candidates with direct security experience who can locate to the Huntsville, AL area.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
