MSIC Research and Technology Engineer

Timeline: Immediate

SCAR LCAT: Minimum - Junior Electrical Engineer, Junior Aerospace Engineer, Junior Missile Systems Engineer

The successful RS27 ITEAMS Phase III Research and Technology Engineer candidate will:

Duties:

Perform all source research to identify and characterize relevant key and enabling technologies related to the radar and its subsystems to establish their technology level within the timeframe of the radar's development.

Conduct machine translations of relevant findings.
Oversee human translation efforts of significant papers.

Research will include program related people, organizations, management, and research and radar related key technologies to include innovative signal processing techniques, A2D converters, computing, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers.
Summarize findings in a Final Radar ITEAMS Research and Technology Report in Microsoft Word for entry into MKB.
Work with the other task leads to incorporate research discoveries into the radar design.
Required Qualifications:

5 years (with Bachelor's or higher degree) or 9 years (without Bachelor's) of experience (with portion in last 2 years) in foreign weapon research using all-source intelligence data.
Understanding of key radar technologies to include innovative signal processing, A2D converters, computing, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers.
Good writing skills.
TS/SCI Clearance.
Ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.
DIA Polygraph.
Experience in foreign weapon research related to missiles.
Previous experience participating in Missile ITEAMS.
Experience writing Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 Analytical standards and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements of Disseminated Analytical Products compliant products.
Ability to work independently without oversight and direction.
