Description:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting.
The primary focus will be working in an outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate should have one year of experience in acute care or outpatient.
Orientation consists of 40 hours.
The clinician will not be on call or float within the facility.
Candidates must have their permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
A facility-provided vehicle is available for use during the assignment.
Vehicle use is limited to a 30-mile radius from the facility.
Housing is provided, typically in a 1-bedroom apartment.
Pets are not allowed in housing units.
The housing is available for occupancy 72 hours before the contract begins.
The housing unit needs to be cleaned upon departure.
Travelers must turn in the facility-arranged vehicle during any time off.
For vehicle operation, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required.
The facility only accepts Hepatitis B vaccines and will not accept titers or declinations.
All work-related cell phone use, if not provided by the assignment, will be reimbursed for up to $50 per month.
Modules for training, averaging 16 hours, need to be completed before starting and annually thereafter.
Completion time for modules is self-reported.
