A relationship-driven role, the Creative Director fosters collaboration, steers the creative direction of campaigns and projects, and leads the team to deliver outstanding creative work. The Creative Director holds a leadership role, overseeing the overall creative direction of projects to ensure alignment with client goals and objectives. This individual provides strategic oversight, utilizing big-picture thinking and decision-making to determine what is presented to clients. The role involves presenting and defending creative work, maintaining strong client and team relationships, and managing the creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Accountability:
Ensure all creative work meets strategic goals, client expectations, and the agency's quality standards.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and implement solutions when creative concepts fall short, ensuring continuous improvement.
Team Development:
Recognize skill gaps within the team and provide training or resources to enhance capabilities.
Strategic Oversight:
Align creative direction with client objectives, business goals, and market trends.
Client Engagement:
Present, defend, and articulate creative ideas clearly to clients, building trust and excitement.
Inspiration and Vision:
Develop and communicate a clear creative vision that motivates the team and drives innovation.
Collaboration:
Work closely with account executives, strategists, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Leadership:
Foster a positive, productive environment, guiding the creative team to deliver exceptional work.
Resource Management:
Allocate team resources effectively, balancing workloads and meeting project deadlines.
Trendsetting:
Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into campaigns to surprise and delight clients.

Requirements:

Foster Relationships:
Stay involved with teams, clients, and leadership by asking questions, engaging in client work, and attending all relevant meetings.
Align Creativity with Strategy:
Understand client goals, speak their language, and defend creative decisions with a strategic mindset.
Inspire Vision and Leadership:
Develop a clear team vision, evoke unique client experiences, and plan for training and growth.
Present and Advocate the Creative Vision:
Capture attention, drive with passion, energize clients to embrace the concepts and creative vision, and communicate it effectively within YUIT and to clients.
Manage Creatives Effectively:
Build systems, balance workloads, and create an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration.
Bring Energy and Drive:
Stay passionate, proactive, and energize the team to stay ahead and motivated.
Lead with Empathy and Vision:
Balance emotional understanding with a leadership mindset, delivering work that wows clients.
A college degree in a related field such as marketing, advertising, communications, etc.
A valid U.S. driver's license and valid vehicle insurance.

Pay:
$85,000 $100,000 per year

Hours:
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:
Anchorage, AK 99501 (Required:
Relocate before starting work)
