Accounts Receivable Analyst

Hourly Wage $25.25
Key Responsibilities:
Verification of customer invoices through SAP daily
Perform customer required AD-HOC Billing
Posting of Customer payments daily
Process credit card payments
Reconcile Credit Card Payment system to Bank Account
Investigate past due balances and variances.
Collaborate with sales, customer service and the customer to resolve and collect outstanding balances.
Generate customer account statements and reports.
Respond to Customer Inquiries regarding Account Balances
Alert management of any collection issues.
Research and reconcile any debit and/or credit adjustments on Customer Accounts
Maintain Customer chargebacks by researching cause, filing back with customer, and reporting to management.
Record payments received in-house and send to lockbox.
Research cash receipts, coding and posting of receipts.
Maintain Customer Files including credit insurance documentation and Resale Certificates
Post journal entries for wire transfers from intercompany transfers of cash
Key entries and credits into RA database to track complaints that are logged into the call center.
Research and track Customer Rebates and Credits
Prepares weekly Sales Reports for Management
Prepares weekly Accounts Receivable Report for Management including status updates on top outstanding accounts.
Monitor AR Aging Reports
Audit Key Customer Account Balances with online Portal or websites
Analyze Customer Sales Programs and Reconcile
Reconcile Lockbox Bank Account with Accounts Receivable Ledger
Analyze Intercompany Account Balances for Differences and recommend corrections.
Analyze, Clear and Correct differences for Intercompany Billing
Identify and Implement department process improvements for S4S migration.
AR Purchase Program Reporting and Reconciliation
AR Bank Account Reconciliation
Bank Statement Migration to SAP
Professional Experience:

2-3 years accounting experience
Education and specialized skills profile:

High School Diploma or GED
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
2-3 years accounts receivable
Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
General math skills
Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
Excellent data entry skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

SAP experience a Plus

Work location is Barnwell.
The Manufacturing environment is not air conditioned or climate controlled.
Regularly walk long distances, talk, hear, stand; use hands/fingers.
This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may require some extended hours.
