Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated

Accounting Intern

to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a recent student who wants to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounting processes, and business operations. The intern will work closely with our accounting professionals to support day-to-day financial activities and gain practical industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in financial data entry, record-keeping, and account reconciliations.

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare financial reports and assist in analyzing financial statements.

Work on special projects related to finance and accounting as assigned.

Assist with audits by gathering supporting documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.

Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Travel domestically as needed for business-related assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

Recent student of an accredited business college.

Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting (1-2 years of experience).

Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness and ability to travel domestically.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent student of an accredited business school (MBA program).

Professional and hands-on experience with finance and accounting functions.

Experience in the Building Technology business.

Essential Job Functions:

Be able to lift and carry personal computers, and spend significant time sitting etc.

Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
