Accounting Assistant- Billing Clerk

Introduction
Join our Accounting team as an Accounting Assistant in our

Westfield, MA

office , supporting our strong and dedicated finance group. From day one, you'll work alongside seasoned experts through a wide variety of responsibilities related to reporting, invoicing, and special projects. You'll work closely with Project Accountants, Project Managers, and Project Directors on billing related services and tasks.
Our Accounting Team
We have a group who work together to execute essential business accounting functions that are crucial to the success of our company. From financial reporting and analysis, to budgeting and payroll, our team delivers financial expertise and outstanding customer service throughout all their responsibilities to our clients and employees.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing draft and final invoice packages and generating receivable reports
Corresponding with clients and reconciling variances
Preparing special project analyses and providing year-end support of auditor requirements
Writing off uncollectible receivables, labor, and/or expenses
Responding to requests for project information and additional services related to billing
What You Will Need

Relevant internship and/or work experience in finance and/or accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
Outstanding organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field
2 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
Knowledge of A/E software or other accounting platforms

$50,000 to $60,000 , based on skills and experience
