• THE POSITION*
• Translate ROPU TA/brand strategies in the HP therapeutic areas (TA): Metabolic, Respiratory, Cardiovascular into OPU operational plans.
• Lead local implementation with a focus on maximizing customer engagement through f2f/ digital channels and execution excellence to drive sales growth and market share gain of assigned TA/brands within the OPU.
• Ensure cross business/function alignment with Medical Affairs, MAHA (Market Access & Healthcare Affairs) and Sales, and regular inputs/feedback to ROPU HP Marketing Head and TA/brand teams.
• Provide OPU inputs into the development of ROPU brand strategies.
• Lead, manage and develop the HP Marketing organization in the OPU
• People retention and development
• Set an innovative culture and patient and customer centric Marketing Organization aligned with BI global direction
• Provide clear communication about business direction across the Marketing Team and Cross-Functional Areas
• TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES*
• *STRATEGY*:
• Lead the implementation and execution of ROPU brand strategies in the HP therapeutic areas (TA): Metabolic, Respiratory, Cardiovascular to deliver on financial targets
• Influence the development of ROPU brand strategies and marketing/business processes by providing regular feedback and relevant local insight (business, market, customer, competitor)
• *DRIVING BUSINESS RESULTS*:INPUT TO BUSINESS PLANNING CYCLE (OUTLOOK & LONG TERM FORECAST (LTF) PROCESS)*:
• Contribute to the LTF/Outlook preparation by providing sales and investment planning for the defined brand/TA
• Develop LTF proposals for Sales, Direct Promotion and Field Force FTEs
• Develop business cases/proposals for additional growth opportunities
• *BUSINESS PERFORMANCE*:
• Drive the TA/Brand performance in line with the OPU objectives
• Ensure achievement of OPU sales, market share and profit/profitability objectives
• Responsible for budget planning and resource allocation for OPU customer engagement (F2F and digital) activities across products (e.g. resource mix, product focus), in alignment with ROPU guidance
• *PROCESS/CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION*:OPERATIONAL PLAN DEVELOPMENT*:
• Provide inputs to ROPU brand teams on local market, customer and competitor information as part of the development of the ICP
• Validate ROPU TA/brand CSFs
• Provide inputs to TA/brand KPI development
• Develop OPU Operational Plan
• *OPERATIONAL PLAN IMPLEMENTATION*:
• Lead the TA/brand teams to implement OPU operational plan including OPU customer engagement plan (e.g. promotional materials, stand alone meetings, symposia aligned to external society meetings, KOL development plans, Medical Association partnership, etc)
• Drive performance through high quality brand reviews, issue identification, brainstorming to offer / share medical-marketing solutions
• *LAUNCH READINESS*
• Oversee and support the activities of the OPU "launch readiness drivers" to ensure the preparedness to launch defined products in terms of product, market and company development
• Provide governance of OPU launch readiness
• Review inputs to launch readiness preparation
• Ensure the preparedness and skills of the team to launch and promote products within the TA in terms of product, market and company development
• Work closely with Medical Affairs, Sales and Market Access to prepare for successful launch
• *CROSS FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT AND ROPU COLLABORATION*
• Collaborate with ROPU Head of Marketing and the ROPU TA Leads
• Organize and lead cross functional team interactions
• Maintain strong interface with ROPU Head of Marketing and ROPU brand teams to facilitate growth of sales and market share
• Provide regular feedback and input to ROPU marketing teams (marketing/competitor/customer insights) to develop brand strategies and ROPU operational plans
• Ensure local operational plan is aligned with key ROPU/OPU strategic direction
• Continuously update and educate the organization on topics relevant to the TA/brands, supporting the sales functions with updates and training materials for the TA/brands
• *MONITORING AND REPORTING*
• Manage HP DP budget spending
• In collaboration with Commercial Operations, deliver monthly performance update and KPI reporting, with close monitoring of OPU market shares, immediately highlighting potential issues to local HPLC and proposing solutions and counter measures
• Communicate regularly key summaries/updates to HPLC in a clear and precise way to facilitate
