The position Shipping Assistant is responsible for support Operations Planning activities, mainly in function of Import/Export shipments.

• Key Accountabilities*
These will include:
• Care of all shipments (Plan, Update, Follow-up, Instruction, Documentation, Customs) to agents and factory.
• Check supplier, freight forwarder and customs documents of all incoming shipments.
• Update Pre-alert new order to all party concern.
• Verify and submit agent invoices to finance and update in database.
• Follow up with agents on customs status/BL of shipments.
• Support any type corrections in delivery or customs documents on request.
• Support local shipments (Plan, Booking, Negotiating, Loading, Documentation, Customs)
• Support customs LVA paperwork/preparation.
• Support shipping coordinator in urgent tasks.
• Secondary activities / tasks*
Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assign, instructed in order to maintain or improve the efficiency, quality and service provided by the operations planning department.
• Qualifications, Experience & Skills*
• Bachelor's degree in logistics/shipping fields.
• Experience at least 2-3 years in shipping or logistics field.
• Excellent Thai written and verbal communication skills.
• English written and verbal communication skills.
• Negotiation skills
• MS Office skills
• Drive to achieve results - sets own standards, checks own work, and demonstrates a positive approach.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle high volume workloads.
• Strong Negotiation skills with the ability to influence and follow business strategies.
• Capable of teamwork and leadership
• Analysis and problem solving - see range of options, deciphers and reacts positively.
• Working collaboratively - actively contributes to achieve organisational objectives.
