• UD Logistics is looking for a Logistics Developer within the Logistics Development team. You will have a global and regional coverage for the transport material network related to UD Operations. The purpose of the role is to organize and optimize the logistics setups in most cost-efficient way and have a close collaboration with UD PL Purchasing, UD Transport Operations and UD Plants Logistics.

The Logistics Developer role reports to the Director of UD Logistics Development and offers you an exciting position with the opportunity to develop your supply chain management skills whilst making your mark within a highly dynamic organization
• Core Responsibilities
• - Conduct logistics studies or analyses, such as time studies, rate analyses, network analyses, flow-path analyses, or supply chain analyses.
• Analyse or interpret logistics data involving customer service, forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, inventory, transportation, or warehousing.
• Identify opportunities for eliminating waste in the logistics supply chain
• Determine feasibility of designing new facilities or modifying existing facilities, based on factors such as cost, available space, schedule, technical requirements, or ergonomics.
• Provide logístical facility or capacity planning analyses for distribution or transportation functions.
• Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs and maintenance plans.
• Evaluate the use of new technologies to improve transportation efficiency and distribution centre efficiency.
• Develop specifications for equipment, tools, facility layouts, or material-handling systems.
• Monitor and review market/regional transport flows in order to find optimal scenarios evaluating parameters such as mode, route, frequency, lead time, volume, - filling degree, CO2 emission, capital tied up, seeking right total cost and most efficient lead time in cooperation with concerned areas.
• Develop and implement new transport set-ups.
• Support with landed cost calculation in material suppliers sourcing investigations and projects in different forums.
• Support Logistics Sourcing Projects with market knowledge and by delivering documentations securing timely and correct handovers to line organization and logistics providers.
• Support new input implementations cases by securing timely and correct information to line organization and logistics providers.
• Validate and upload master data into our logistics operational systems (ATLAS, OTM4D, NII, OFS4P)
• Participate in/and execute on project in cooperation with other colleagues in Logistics Services
• Provide solutions of functional Atlas/OTM4D system problems according to LS business principles reported by material supplier or carrier
• Bachelor's degree and above.
• Above 6 years' experience in the field of Logistics/Supply Chain. Knowledge in any logistics/supply chain tool would be added extra value.
• Should be inquisitive, action oriented & ability to understand the company objectives & requirements.
• Supply Chain Management knowledge. UD Transport Set up knowledge is an added advantage.
• Analytical skills & practical understanding ability.
• Process oriented with strong drive for continuous improvements within own work area.
• Good & effective communication, networking & influencing skills to build strong internal and external relationships with main stakeholders & peers.
• Motivated and determined to reach agreed objectives, (K) PI's.
• Customer focus with sense of urgency.

• Team player prepared to support where necessary with clear thoughts.
• Advanced excel knowledge.
• Experience from the automotive sector will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent English & Mandarin written and communication skills
