• What you will do*:
• Monitor and ensure compliance to environmental laws and applicable permits
• Coordinate regular regulatory sampling, data analysis & reporting, escalating issues, interacting & working with company counsel, outside consultants
• Preparing and signing to certify on behalf of the company to the reports required by local authorities
• Provide environment inputs for regular local / global stewardship reports / reviews including
• Provide technical support to Unit Contact Engineer for Waste Treatment Units performance monitoring & troubleshooting
• Steward the implementation of project / initiative for greenhouse gas reduction to achieve net zero target
• Influence legislation thru cooperative advocacy taskforce of draft environmental regulations affecting company operations
• Interpret / implement environment related regulations and / or company standards in the forms of procedures, practices & programs and relevant trainings
• Conduct work site inspection and provide recommendation to comply with regulatory and company environment requirements
• Act as single point of contact for environmental related incident classification
• Support permit preparation for new project as required
• Act on any other activities, tasks, exercises, programs, etc. as assigned by immediate supervisor
• About you*:
• Skills and Qualifications*
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineer
• Strong academic background
• Wastewater, air pollution and hazardous waste controller certificate is preferred
• _ Fluency in English: TOEIC 800+_
