Our client, is a
• global leader powering eCommerce for postal operators, couriers, and logistics organisations.

This position is responsible for reviewing business requirements, leading architectural designs, defining implementation approaches, and guiding developers, QA, business analysts, project managers, and other team members to ensure sustainable solutions are provided with cross-platform compatibility for clients.
• Your responsibilities will include*:
• Reviewing and approving system and interface designs of overall solutions and providing guidance on alternative solutions as needed.
• Providing input to creating project initiation documents, including objectives, scope, technology approach, and supplier selection when needed.
• Defining clear boundaries between core and any custom functionality to maximise the effective use of the product and technologies.
• Proactively working with internal R&D to seek new technologies to feed into the Technology Roadmap.
• Educating the Services and Product leadership team on customer trends and providing insights.
• Working with Bid Management and Sales Engineering roles to support the response to requests for solutions from new customers.
• Designing and executing the overall solution for the assigned projects and ensuring the quality of solution architecture.
• Working closely with the core product's Software Architects, ensuring that the solution follows best practices and tenets established for the technology platforms involved and that each solution is achieved as designed.
• Maintaining a detailed knowledge of the customer environment, including the core products in use, any custom elements and connected systems, to be able to evaluate the impact of changes and other new requirements.
• Developing a detailed knowledge of the core product set and identifying opportunities for further use within the existing customer base.
• Taking all perspectives and risk mitigation into account for any given project and appropriately documenting, monitoring and escalating as needed.
• To be successful in this role, you will need*:
• Minimally, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from a recognised educational institution.
• Minimally 8 years of experience in software development, part of which as a Senior Developer or Architect.
• Minimally 2 years experience working in a similar role, such as a Solution or Software Architect.
• Excellent client-facing skills and experience working with clients directly (not just internal development teams).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft.NET framework and specifically C#.
• Experience working with mobile devices.
• Experience with full project lifecycle development.
• Preferably, knowledge of Xamarin or WPF.
• Preferably, knowledge of the postal, retail, logistics or financial sectors.

• The ability to understand and tailor to the communication styles of customers, project teams, and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• The ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external resources, clients, and third parties at all levels, from team members to executives.
• Reliability in managing critical relationships with internal & external resources, clients, and third parties.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• The ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and communicate shifts in prioritisation.
• The ability to adapt to shifting business priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Thai.
• Based in Thailand, with the ability to travel as required to the clients in Bangkok.
• A willingness to travel to client sites and internal offices up to 50% of the time, or as required, to meet client expectations (COVID-19 restrictions permitting).
• The ability to work outside of regular business hours to meet client and program demands.
