• 2. Job Purpose*:
• Primary purpose of the role - briefly describe in one or two sentences why the job exists*:
Responsible to support strategic business development opportunities for Ground & Rail through solution design (pricing, costings, vendor selection, operational processes, route optimization design, KPIs and cost modeling) as well as meeting customer / final presentation of solution. Further, to support onboarding of Ground & Rail customers and continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives as required.
• Key Accountabilities*:
Main areas of focus and accountability of the role - detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

To provide the Pricing and Solution Design to align all strategic business development opportunities, liaise internally and coordinate necessary ground solution as a BU work stream to support the new business opportunities

Work directly with the Ground & Rail operation team to define Thailand Ground & Rail strategy and goals consistent with the global product strategy. Ensure this strategy is communicated and adopted within the Ground Pricing and Solution Design organization. Product strategy covers: service offering, business development priority targets, operational capabilities development, process and technology roadmap.

Locates opportunities to provide innovative and compelling offers in order to generate growth for GROUND and Ground businesses in Thailand.

Define and implement appropriate PRIMO Cost Model, consistent with GHO guidance, in order to actively manage Ground & Rail Solution Design & ICAP.

Works co-operatively with others to achieve the goals, supports appropriate sharing of transport resources and expertise between other BLs by promoting the full benefits to Ground and all BU.

Define priorities and work collaboratively with BPE, operations, Digital and IT corporate administration to ensure efficient operations through continuous improvement methods and technology support (process standardization, compliance and automation, capacity planning and optimization)

Define priorities and work collaboratively with transport procurement and regional operations to ensure delivery of savings targets, adequate capacity (sourcing mix, make or buy) and robust supplier management (compliance, performance management)
• Knowledge, Experience & Skills*

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar
• Master's Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar

• Relevant working experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, and/or manufacturing
• Working experience managing teams
• Project management experience
• Experience of working across multiple project.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a position
• Specialist Knowledge & Skills*
• Project management, warehousing, transportation, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturing
• Able to evaluate technical solutions, their commercial impact and risks
• Able to lead a multi-disciplinary team
• Understand basic business cost modelling and P&L structures.
• Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands-on implementation of transport management software (TMS, Optimization tools, etc.) and related change management of the systems and processes
• Advanced knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and transport management, transport law and driving regulations.
• Familiar with modern management tools such as TOM, Six Sigma, JIT, Kanban, etc.
