Senior Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer with more than 5 years of development experience and a passion for IT development, innovation, and business-driven enhancements of IT solutions, you will work in a Tech Lead role.
In this position, you will apply the principles of software engineering to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of our software.
You will support and guide our Stable team with technical questions and work closely within a knowledgeable team that has multiple years of implementing our in-house system.
As an innovative, self-driven individual with a strong technical focus and a customer-oriented attitude, you will contribute to a positive team spirit and take responsibility for the results.
The focus of this role is to develop software for adaptive fault correction, monitoring, and support tools.
You will help build the foundation for our future work and way of working.
You will be part of the GTO Produce & Maintain organization, sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues in the same field.

Some of your key responsibilities

Manage the technical roadmap of deliveries.
Support all members of the stable team on technical/technology questions and implementing modern ways of developing.
Secure technical competence for the stable team.
Responsible for technology choices within the team.
Clarify the system architecture we are working in.
Develop detailed designs of applications.
Responsible for the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems using service-oriented architecture.
Write and test code, refining and rewriting it as necessary, and communicate with any team member involved in the project.
Support end-users in runtime (e.g., third-line support).

Required knowledge/experience

University degree in Computer Science or similar.
Tech lead assignments.
Advanced knowledge in different programming languages.
Experience leading a development team.
Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Experience in the automotive industry.
