Your role
Saab business area Surveillance is looking for a Head of Operational Security.
As a Head of Operational Security at business area Surveillance, you will work in an international environment where a complex security threat landscape as well as a sometimes challenging requirement landscape is part of our daily operations.
You will be part of the everyday operations and projects with high business impact, making it important to have a good business understanding.
In this role, you will manage, lead, and coordinate a team of security generalists with different skillsets to support our widespread operations.
The aim for this team is to support and govern our businesses and ensure a compliant and adequate security set-up throughout our wide operations.
This role requires a very good ability to cooperate and communicate since you are dependent on other functions and specialists to support your team of security generalists.
This role will be a manager for a team of security generalists and part of the Surveillance security management team, where you will help decide the strategic and operational direction for the security function.
Your main tasks will be:


Manager for our Operational Security team
Part of the management team within Surveillance security
Represent Surveillance Operational Security internally and externally
Compliance management including establishing and maintaining security instructions, routines, and guidelines
Trainings and presentations

All areas of protective security management will be a major part of your everyday work, and the Operational Security manager will lead, guide, and support others in the team.
Your profile
Required skills:


A university degree or equivalent competence acquired through work life experience in security risk management, crisis management, and/or similar
Several years of experience working with security risk management, crisis management, and/or similar within the Saab context or similar
Experience from working with security management
Experience from working with Swedish protective security
Good problem-solving skills in a security context
Good ability to establish clear structures and handle many tasks simultaneously
Good communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

Desired skills:


Experience from working for government authorities or in a global context, including understanding of various security-related issues in the business process
Experience from working with GSA's, Classifications guides, security within contracts in and outside Sweden
Experience from audit and control within protective security
Good knowledge about Saab's routines and processes
Ability to build and maintain networks and good relations inside as well as outside your own organization
Experience from working with incident handling and/or incident investigations

Personal qualities will be of great importance; you are a true team player, always focusing on the team's results and supporting the business and the company.
This position will be based in either Gothenburg or Stockholm, but for the right candidate, other locations where Surveillance has established operations might be considered.
Since we are a global company and we work in an international context, we require that you feel confident in both speaking and writing in English.
The position will require travel, both domestic and international, to support and continually follow up with your team and operation, maintain networks, conduct training, etc.
It also requires a flexible and dynamic individual who can adjust and quickly adapt to changes.
It is paramount that you are trustworthy with strong ethics and personal integrity, and you understand the need for balanced security in a business-driven environment.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection.
For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
