VICE PRESIDENT MARKETING - Selective Mining, Quarrying and Construction

If so, we are seeking a Vice President of Marketing for Selective Mining, Quarrying, and Construction to join our Surface Division Management Team.

In this role, you will lead the growth of our product and service portfolio through both organic growth and acquisitions. You will drive industry trends toward automation, sustainability, and autonomy in smart mining and sustainable construction, with a strong focus on data analytics at the core.

This leadership position requires an experienced marketing professional with a deep understanding of the mining and construction industries, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to create and implement innovative business plans that generate profitable growth.

In this position, you will report to the President of Surface Division, José Sanchez, and serve as part of the Division Management Team. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with corporate and sustainability goals.
Manage product portfolios and drive brand awareness.
Lead a marketing team to enhance customer engagement and industry leadership.
Promote customer-centric approaches and digitalization of customer experiences.
Ensure consistent brand identity and align marketing materials with brand guidelines.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customer centers and external partners.
Act as a spokesperson at industry events, conferences, and media engagements.
Represent the Surface Division in the Epiroc Marketing Council.

3. Team Development:

Foster an inclusive and innovative team culture.
Collaborate with other business lines and divisions.
Mentor and recruit top talent, ensuring a strong succession plan.
Promote diversity and inclusion within the team.
Partner with Epiroc China teams on local brand development and marketing projects.

4. Performance Management:

Manage P&L, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
Implement controls and KPIs to monitor performance.
Oversee portfolio management and rationalization.
Allocate marketing resources efficiently and analyze ROI of campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration (Master's/MBA preferred).
Proven leadership experience, especially with remote teams.
Strong grasp of global market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
