CSA Department ManagerResponsibilities:
The Field Engineer reports to Technical Services Manager.Main liaison between contractor(s) and the home office engineering.Provides technical/engineering support and advice to construction work.Participate in field site review(s) prior to the start of construction activities.Coordinate with Engineering regarding the technical approval of all General Contractor's submittal documentation.Review and respond to field technical queries, preparing, submitting and following up of RFIs.Provide technical assistance to QA/QC and Project Controls to ensure contractors and suppliers meet technical requirements.Participate as Technical Expert during audit for discipline-related activities.Provide spot surveillance of craft discipline to ensure high quality standards of workmanship.Audits the Contractor's 'As-Built' drawing records.Where necessary, provides off-site support.Qualifications:
A recognized and relevant engineering degree.Relevant industry experience.Moving forward together:
