Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the restaurant, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and beverages, considering guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers, ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly, following up to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to proper serving etiquette and presentation standards.
Check back with customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Anticipate the needs of guests, such as refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing additional condiments or utensils as required.
Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions securely and following established procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas, including dining tables, service stations, and beverage stations.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages to prevent contamination.
Uphold restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to guest service, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance job skills and knowledge of menu items and service techniques.The manager is authorized to assign the employee to any task within the department.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred.
Food Safety and Sanitation Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
On-the-Job Training and Experience.
Valid Health Card.
Language efficiency.
