We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background in Land Development to lead and oversee complex projects within our organisation.
The successful candidate will have extensive project management experience, as well as a strong technical background in Land Development disciplines (infrastructure, transport planning, landscape, sustainability).
The ideal candidate will possess Middle East experience with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to lead multi-disciplinary land development teams and drive internationally significant development projects from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Lead and manage Land Development Projects (Master Planning, Infrastructure, Transport Planning).Team Management:
Build and lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and motivation to team members to achieve project goals.Client Interaction:
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations whilst aligning with project budgets.Cost and Resource Management:
Develop project budgets, monitor and control expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Scope and Schedule Management:
Develop a work breakdown structure for the project, create schedules, monitor and control project progress against schedule.
Ensure scope and deliverables are well-defined.
Ensure variance and scope creep are identified and that change is adequately documented and managed.Quality Management:
Manage and control quality on the project by implementing AtkinsR alis processes and templates and instilling and maintaining a quality culture across the project teams.Key Candidate Attributes:
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large and complex Land Development projects in the Middle East.Proficiency in project management tools, processes, and principles.Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, land use, zoning, and architectural design.Strong understanding of the full Land Development project life cycle and technical disciplines (visioning, master planning, detailed design, construction, handover, operations) to allow sufficient foresight to be applied at early stages to ensure designability, buildability, and maintainability.Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams (master planning, transport planning, infrastructure, landscaping, architecture, etc.) through the master planning process and subsequent infrastructure design stages.Technical background in a land development discipline is preferred (master planning, transport planning, infrastructure).Qualifications:
Degree in Land Development discipline (e.g., master planning, transport planning, infrastructure) is preferred.PMP, MAPM, or other similar project management accreditations preferred.Working Conditions:
This role may require travel to project sites and meetings with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
It may also involve occasional extended working hours to meet project deadlines.
