Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Use project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and manage project schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure accuracy of schedules.
Track project progress against the baseline schedule and identify any deviations.
Prepare and distribute regular progress reports, including S-curves, histograms, and earned value analysis.
Conduct schedule impact analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.
Develop resource-loaded schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of resources.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Organize and lead planning meetings, workshops, and progress review sessions.
Ensure all stakeholders are informed of schedule updates and project milestones.
Ensure project schedules comply with industry standards, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
Maintain project documentation, including schedule updates, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Experience:Must have Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for EPC projects in the oil & gas sector within the Gulf region.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Office, and other relevant project management tools.
Certifications:PMP or equivalent certifications are preferable.
Knowledge:In-depth understanding of oil & gas industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Key Competencies:Strong project planning and organizational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
