Field Application Specialist - Clinical Diagnostics Group

Bio-Rad Clinical Diagnostics Group is hiring a highly motivated Field Application Specialist with expertise in Quality Control products and where knowledge in IT is required. The right candidate has a positive attitude, collaboration skills, and has a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales results. You will work as part of a high-functioning team including Sales managers and the application team in the Channel partners region.
This role is field-based and includes travel with overnight stays.
How You'll Make an Impact:


Main responsibility is to ensure short term as well as long term successful sales results within your application area of Quality Control products and informatics solutions implementing.
Apply your scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars, and training sessions.
Provide field application support for customers utilizing available installed instruments in collaboration with Technical Support, Service, and the Sales Team.
Plan, perform, and follow up sales activities to ensure high-value customers and market segments are targeted and engaged. Focus on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers at strategically important customer accounts.
Actively seek to maintain expert understanding of the technology and applications within the area of responsibility, including sharing and training of the sales team. Keep a basic knowledge about the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.

What You Bring:


Academic degree (e.g. Bachelor) in a relevant scientific discipline.
Good organizational and time management skills and a strong ability to work both independently and in a team.
High level of presentation and communication skills.
Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
Experience in presenting at seminars, workshops, or training is an advantage.
Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
