The Architectural Engineering department at Alfaisal University invites applications for full time positions.
Specific positions and areas of interest include:

1.
Assistant, Associate or Professor
The ideal candidate for the position should demonstrate a proven ability to effectively teach courses in the areas of Architecture, Building Systems and Technologies, and Architectural Practice.
Furthermore, the desired candidate should hold a Ph.D.
degree and possess a strong track record in research, teaching, and mentoring/advising.
The rank at which the candidate will be hired will be determined based on their experience, achievements, and qualifications.
It is essential that the candidate contributes positively to fostering a culturally diverse work environment, inclusive of faculty, staff, and students.
Active participation in community outreach and service to the department, college, and university is expected.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of courses, which may include but are not limited to:


Lighting Systems and Applications
Architectural Design
Working/Construction Drawings
Construction Management
Construction and Architecture Professional Practice

Instructor or Lecturer
The candidate will have the opportunity to co-teach courses in various areas, including Drafting & Drawing, Architectural Design Studios, Interior Design, Construction Drawings, and Capstone Project.
It is crucial that the candidate possesses expertise in architectural design and related fields, strong communication and teaching skills, and a portfolio that showcases previous student work and professional examples.
The desired candidate should hold an MSc degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field, providing them with a solid foundation in the subject matter.
They should also demonstrate a commitment to actively participating in community outreach and serving the department, college, and university.

About Us
Alfaisal University is a young and fast-growing university located in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It was founded in 2008 as a private not-for-profit institution, where English is the language of instruction.
It consists of four colleges:
Business, Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, and Science.
The College of Engineering has been offering a wide range of degrees and programs through a blend of rigorous and project-based curricula.
Currently, the college offers bachelor's degrees in Architectural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, and Software Engineering.
