On behalf of our client, a leading Saudi based aviation MRO specialising in defence aircraft, we are seeking to recruit an Aviation Technical Expert - C-130. The successful candidate is required have experience in military aviation, specifically in avionics systems and upgrades, to assist in the evaluation and development of technical requirements and the creation of a comprehensive technical proposal for the avionics upgrade of C-130 aircraft.

Key responsibilities:
Requirement Evaluation:
Analyse and evaluate technical requirements provided by stakeholders for the C-130 avionics upgrade.
Collaborate with avionics engineers and project managers to ensure all technical specifications are clearly defined and feasible.Technical Proposal Development:
Create a detailed technical proposal that outlines the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the avionics upgrade project.
Develop comprehensive descriptions of proposed systems, methodologies, timelines, and resources required for the upgrade.
Ensure the proposal is aligned with customer requirements, applicable regulations, and industry best practices.Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all documentation complies with applicable aviation regulations.
Develop and maintain detailed database of reference materials, including research, usability tests, and design specificationsQualifications:
Proven experience as a technical Expert in the aerospace, defence, or aviation industry, ideally with experience in military aviation projects.
Strong knowledge of avionics systems, ideally including experience with C-130 or similar aircraft.
Familiarity with military and FAA regulations governing avionics upgrades.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce clear and persuasive technical documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Desirable
Background in systems engineering or a strong understanding of how systems engineering processes apply to avionics upgrades. This will allow the Expert to better interpret technical specifications and systems interactions.
Certifications or training in technical writing or aerospace engineering.Additional Information:
