*Application Operation Team lead
• Job Purpose
• To lead and manage a team of Managed Services Enterprise Application Operation (L1, L2, and L3) engineers, ensuring the optimal performance, stability, and security of enterprise applications for high-end banking and financial institutions, critical and sensitive government entities, and diverse multicultural environments.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold strict regulatory compliance.
• Role and Responsibilities
• Provide direction and leadership to the Managed Services Enterprise Application Operation team, aligning goals with organizational objectives and client requirements.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring efficient task management, resource allocation, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and professional growth.
• Implement and manage performance improvement initiatives, analyzing data, identifying trends, and optimizing processes to enhance team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application developers, IT infrastructure teams, and service desk representatives, to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Manage and prioritize incidents and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime for critical applications.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities in enterprise applications, maintaining strict adherence to security protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in enterprise application operation, ensuring the team's knowledge and expertise remain current.
• Qualifications and Education Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in computer and systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in enterprise application support or a related technical field, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
In-depth understanding of enterprise application architecture, infrastructure, and operating systems.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of technical professionals.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic and complex environment, with frequent changes in technology, regulations, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Must have the ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and make quick decisions under pressure.
Must have the ability to provide strategic direction, lead a team of technical experts, manage complex projects, and make critical decisions under pressure.
Must have a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, infrastructure, operating systems, and IT service management principles.
Must have the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, including team members, application developers, IT infrastructure teams, service desk representatives, end-users, senior management, and external clients.
Must have Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are essential to navigate complex relationships, manage expectations effectively, and foster teamwork.
Must have the ability to recognize that the impact of his/her decisions may extend over a longer period, requiring careful consideration of long-term consequences.

Must have the understanding that the work is primarily mental, but it can be stressful and demanding at times, particularly during critical incidents, high-stakes projects, or when dealing with demanding clients.
Must have the ability to work under pressure, manage stress effectively, and maintain composure under challenging circumstances.

• Skills
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud computing concepts.
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English is a must.
