• Responsible for executing all necessary tasks related to material and production planning.
• Different systems will be required for this planning job; MRP and VMI are two tools that will be implemented depending on customer needs and expectations.
• Capable of implementing these planning methods using Oracle MI system.
• This system should be the source of all follow-up and management reporting.
• Full responsibility for material stocking levels to help achieve planned inventory turns targets.
• Managing workers on the assembly line to achieve planned daily production, productivity, and quality.
• Manage a staff team of logistics and shipper coordinators.
• Travel may be required occasionally.
• Communicating and dealing directly with internal and external suppliers to agree on delivery lead times, revising FCST data, and planning for future orders.
• Responsible for achieving delivery performance, inventory management, productivity, and quality targets, and presenting these achievements through monthly operational performance reports.
• Participation in cycle counting and annual physical stock taking is mandatory.
Education and Qualifications
• BSc / Engineering degree.
• MS-Office and Oracle System experience is a plus.
Experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing and material planning - preferably in the air conditioning industry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning - preferable in the air conditioning industry (but not mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years in production scheduling and management.
• Procurement experience is a basic requirement.
• English / Arabic - preferable.
