to promote better healthcare at lower costs for patients every day, by making health outcomes available. What you'll be expected to do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust healthcare data integration solutions, focusing on interoperability using HL7, FHIR, and SPMS services like SONHO, SClínico, Registo Nacional de Utentes, and Portal do Profissional.
• Implement and manage integration solutions using Apache Camel K, Mirth Connect, and other interoperability platforms.
• Develop and maintain APIs and services in Java and Python to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and secure data exchange across various platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of interoperability solutions.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate new services and features into our healthcare ecosystem.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions, particularly with S3, to ensure the integrity and availability of healthcare data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues, ensuring reliable and secure data flows.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare interoperability standards and technologies, continuously improving our integration solutions.
• Collaborate with other talented engineers to drive interoperability excellence within the organization.

• Proven experience as an Interoperability Engineer or similar role in the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards, including HL7, FHIR, and SPMS services (SONHO, SClínico, Registo Nacional de Utentes, Portal do Profissional).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Camel K and Mirth Connect for building integration solutions.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for API and service development.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions, particularly AWS S3.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and tools.
• Familiarity with secure data exchange and privacy regulations in healthcare.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in the context of healthcare data interoperability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Portuguese healthcare systems and standards is a plus.
