The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Vendor Master Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:

• Oversee and improve the vendor master data process across multiple ERPs, ensuring accuracy and integrity in the setup and modification of vendor records.
  
• Collaborate with IT and technical teams to streamline vendor creation processes, implement changes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Manage and mentor 4-7 analysts, setting clear objectives and fostering an environment of ongoing development and optimal team performance.
  
• Ensure timely issuance of compliance reports (e.
  g.
  , 1099s), maintain adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and troubleshoot EDI-related issues as needed.
  
• Facilitate communication across StP teams, support the resolution of payment and invoice issues, and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal clients while adhering to policies and internal controls

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, or related field
• A detailed working knowledge of SAP and Oracle/Peoplesoft
• Experience with vendor portals, Ariba supplier Network and/or EDI
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency with advanced MS Excel and Access skills
• Strong Communication (oral and written), Organizational (personal and team level) and interpersonal skills.
  

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement or related field in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Being able to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt quickly to software upgrades and/or system implementations.

  • Offering a high, uncompromising level of service to both internal and external customers and cultivating relationships with those parties.

Hybrid within Poland (Wroclaw), Spain (Madrid) or UK (Loughborough)
