Compliance Analyst 2

Overview
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, documentation, and support of corporate compliance policies and procedures. This position will work with 3rd party auditors to ensure successful completion of compliance and audit activities as well as participate with customers and prospects to satisfy and align inquiries from outside compliance authorities.
Responsibilities

Respond to security questionnaires and inquiries regarding the company's compliance program; maintain responses in company repository.
Support and document investigations regarding audit findings, policy deviations, and incident handling activities.
Participate in internal and external compliance audits to assess the company's posture against regulatory and industry standards.
Research compliance requirements for internal users, systems, and end users with minimal oversight.
Document and monitor controls to manage risks and identify gaps including results from mitigation activities with minimal oversight; track mitigation activities with control owners.
Provide visibility to compliance standards within the department through communication to stakeholders with minimal oversight.
Participate in reviewing work processes with control owners to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.
Experience with software, IT, and cloud computing security and compliance principles, controls, and frameworks preferred.
Experience working with audit firms.
Experience with risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Good collaborative skills applied successfully within team as well as with other areas.
Sharp, fast learner with a technology curiosity and aptitude.
Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
