What You'll Be Doing:
You will manage the IT & Tech Procurement category for Avon International.
This involves setting the procurement strategy in partnership with the business, managing suppliers, driving savings and cash improvements, and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.More about the role:
What You'll Be Working On:
Procurement Strategy:
Develop sub-category strategies, provide market intelligence, and transform business needs into actionable strategies.Financial Results:
Build and monitor project pipelines to achieve savings goals, negotiate payment terms, and partner with stakeholders on efficiency improvements.Budgeting and Forecasting:
Contribute to IT and Procurement budgets and monitor performance against these budgets.Commitment for Life:
Ensure responsible procurement and sustainability practices are followed.People Management:
Manage category stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and develop a talent pipeline.Compliance:
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures for category spend.Strategic Initiatives:
Support Procurement Excellence leadership on key projects.What We're Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of IT procurement experience in a multinational corporate environment.Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
CIPS and/or IT industry certification is desirable.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, experience in negotiating with tier 1/2 suppliers, supporting complex programs, running BAU RFX projects, strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to handle tight deadlines.Fluency in English is required.Why Avon?At Avon, you'll have the opportunity to define the procurement strategy for IT sub-categories, connecting procurement KPIs to stakeholder needs.
