SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Department of NAVAL SUPPORT FACILITY POLAND.Tour of duty will be 18 months unaccompanied.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Managing safety and occupational health programs (e.g.
Occupational Safety and Health, Explosives Safety, Traffic Safety, Recreational/Off-Duty Safety) to control or eliminate unsafe operations and conditions;Performing inspections of facilities to identify hazards and determine if conditions comply with established safety policies and procedures;Interpreting safety and occupational health laws, policies, regulations, standards, and operational directives to recommend policy and program changes or modifications;Developing and conducting training to promote safety awareness.NOTE:

To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
