This will be a fixed-term contract role until March or April 2025.
We are looking for a bright and organised professional who ideally has a strong legal background.
Five-plus years' post admission to the bar, ideally having experience with litigation, or having worked for a regulatory agent or in a disputes related space.
Alternatively, a candidate who has proven experience working in a similar role or of working closely with Boards and other executives in a support function would also be considered.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong initiative and be comfortable in a fast-paced environmentEnjoy a variety of work and be an excellent multitaskerProven experience of providing legal and policy advice or working closely with Boards, committees and other executives in a support functionExperience of supporting the establishment of high-profile Reviews, provision of specialist integrity advice and secretariat servicesStrong understanding of the machinery of government including cabinet and parliamentary processesAn understanding of policy models and their applicationAn understanding of strategic planning, monitoring and evaluationProject management and planning skills in complex environmentsSuperb interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a range of stakeholdersFantastic written communication and sound judgementSkilled in drafting legal documentsHigh attention to detail and are used to managing your own caseloadIf this sounds like you or you'd be keen to find out more please send an updated CV to James Atkin at
