Help shape the future of Education

You will work collaboratively to understand the impact of change on different parts of the sector, and ensure resources enable effective delivery of change into the sector.
As a team, we will provide engagement and change frameworks, systems and processes that reflect tikanga values to give practical effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Salary range:

About you | Mōhou ake
We're looking for someone who knows Change back to front and inside out.
You will be a leader and mentor in Change to build and foster the growth in change capability across our group.
To be successful in this role, you will have led Change in a range of programmes and projects, so you know what good Change looks like.
You'll be a great communicator, confident talking to a variety of stakeholders.
You will also offer:
A solid understanding of benefits management.
Knowledge of how data and insights can support decision making.
A pragmatic approach to Change - providing what's needed to support our stakeholders.
This unique role offers the opportunity to focus on both internal and external change, in a supportive team environment.
We get to take a systems-thinking approach to our work to make it better for ākonga.
The Sector Change and Implementation Group supports Te Tāhuhu (Ministry of Education) to successfully implement government initiatives, services and policies that impact the Education sector, our frontline takiwā (regional) staff and ākonga and whānau.
We partner with our takiwā colleagues to understand local context and priorities, and to support their leadership of successful change in the sector.
The Change Team supports Te Tāhuhu, our group, and our regional teams with best practice change methods to support sector-facing implementation.
We assess the impact of sector-facing change and ensure takiwā have what they need to support successful implementation.
