Position Overview
The purpose of this role is to oversee and lead all aspects of the ofi Stage 2 project from scoping through to completion.
Understand Safety Management Systems relevant to your role, work in a safe manner to ensure you don't put yourself or others at risk, and proactively raise and address issues.
The role also requires active engagement in representing the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) as needed, ensuring that interventions are timely and consistent with both regulatory requirements and the long-term vision for site sustainability and growth.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be to ensure the Stage 2 project is delivered within budget and on time.
As the Project Manager, you will drive us towards the successful delivery of the project with ofi, in line with our project delivery framework including but not limited to:

Leading the development of and maintaining our project plans.
Recording and monitoring risks, issues, decisions, and interdependencies.
Managing budgets and purchase order tracking related to the project.
Planning engagement with internal and external stakeholders required to achieve the project outcomes.
Scheduling and coordinating project steering groups, including producing relevant supporting reports and updates.
Ensuring that all project phases align with future sustainable development goals, incorporating flexibility to accommodate upcoming phases seamlessly.
Responsible for future-proofing designs and strategies, integrating them into the overall master planning framework to protect the broader evolution of the site.
Leadership of the ofi project team.
Ensuring all key deliverables and performance guarantees are met.
Preparing project summary reports and documenting all change requests.
Managing a punch-list including planned (mitigating) actions.
Ensuring as-built drawings and documentation are handed over to the operations team, including required (test) certificates according to local machinery regulations (E.g.
PED, ATEX or similar).
Requirements and Skills
A minimum of years of project management experience managing projects over 50 million dollars, preferably in a manufacturing environment, Food Industry or FMCG.
An effective self-starter focused on providing solutions and outcomes that are in line with best practice.
Ability to bring people together to achieve results and communicate effectively, building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders (both internally and externally).
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and resource consent requirements.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project Management and AutoCAD, Maintenance Management, and TPM.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Technical trade diploma and/or Certificate in Project Management/Engineering degree.
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of HAZOP, GMP, and WHS Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
