Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort is currently seeking a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for the management of the entire housekeeping operations for the property.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms, public and common areas).
Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeepers staff members, Housekeepers clients and all contractor personnel;
Support housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service;
Oversee daily on the job training for all cleaning employees;
Maintain accurate financial, maintenance and inventory records;
Minimum expected hours: 30 hours per week
Location: 327/343 Frankton Road, Queenstown, STH 9300, New Zealand
Annual salary range: $29-$32 p/h (excluding superannuation)

Reporting to: Housekeeping Manager
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week to be worked in accordance with a roster.
Breaks: Employees are entitled to paid rest breaks and unpaid meal breaks based on the number of hours worked. Breaks will be taken at times agreed to by the employer and employee or when the law says breaks must be taken.
Remuneration: An hourly rate of $29.66 to be paid fortnightly by direct credit to your nominated bank account.
Period of Notice: Four weeks
Qualifications 6 months - 2 years supervisory experience
Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, all operating supplies, replacements and consumables;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent time management and organisational skills;
Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
Availability to work full time hours, including availability on weekends and public holidays
