Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, a 4 star property with 273 rooms, meeting facilities and a stunning view from our Elements Restaurant. Conveniently placed in prime location in Queenstown, making it one of the most iconic tourist destination Hotels in the World!
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's operation, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and the safety and security of our property.
Assisting in day-to-day operations of all Front Office functions, overseeing smooth coordination of a hotel.
Ability to problem solve and create solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
VIPs and loyalty members are well cared for, and their needs are met while expectations are exceeded.
Oversee staff and assist with training and development.
Overseeing mainly Front Office: telephones, porters, security, parking.
Effective supervision of guest arrivals and departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes are seamless.
Responsible for overseeing all outlets and assisting where needed, including Housekeeping and the Food and Beverage outlets.
Dealing and resolving appropriately with any guest complaints.
Must already have a valid visa to work in New Zealand.
Qualifications
Experience in a similar role will be advantageous or hotel experience.
Full driver's license preferred.
Able to hold a Manager's certificate and obtain LCQ.
