As a market leader with branches in Auckland and Christchurch, we specialize in providing integrated airfreight, seafreight, contract logistics, and 4PL solutions to a diverse and enviable portfolio of local and international customers.Role Overview:
Leadership:
Report to the Country MD and collaborate with the New Zealand leadership team and APAC regional airfreight teams.Decision-Making:
Play a crucial role in executive decisions, support commercial strategy, and manage extensive inbound and outbound airfreight operations.P&L Responsibility:
Formulate and execute the New Zealand airfreight business plan and strategy.Operational Remit:
profitability, quality, operational performance, procurement, growth, and regulatory environment for both import and export airfreight solutions.About youWe will help you be successful in this role.
To start you will need:
Experience:
healthcare, temperature sensitive, hazardous, ambient goods, as well as the associated regulatory regimes.Qualifications:
Ideally qualified in logistics, operations, or supply chain.Leadership:
Engaging leader with the ability to work harmoniously within strong leadership and operational teams.Citizenship:
Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid visa.Collaboration:
Ability to work with other operational business unit heads, commercial, finance, and human resources heads.Continuous Improvement:
Passion for best practices and continuous improvement.Team Leadership:
Inspire and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional service.Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, logistics, or equivalent professional experience.Experience:
5-10 years of industry experience, with 3-5 years in people management and leadership.Skills:
