Reporting to the Business Manager, in this role, you'll work with the store management team to ensure smooth daily operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service while fostering a positive and productive work environment.As part of our multi-brand, multi-site team, you'll have the opportunity to work across both Briscoes and Rebel Sport, gaining valuable experience and insights.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and you're eager to take on more responsibility while continuing to develop your leadership skills, this role is perfect for you! Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through effective coaching, training, and schedulingSales and Customer Service:
Leverage the sales & service program to achieve high standards of customer service, exceed sales targets, taking accountability of the storeLoss Prevention and Compliance:
Implement and maintain loss prevention initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies and audit programs, and identify opportunities to improve resultsTeam Leadership:
Lead by example on the shop floor, providing positive and corrective feedback to team members to drive performance and developmentHealth and Safety:
Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following company policies, participating in health and safety activities, and building a positive health and safety culture within the storeInventory Management:
Maintain the integrity of inventory through proven skills and effective management practicesWhat will you need to bring to this role?Over 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a similar role within a big-box retail settingA genuine enthusiasm for the retail industryA strong desire to build a career in retail managementProven experience in leading staff within a retail environmentStrong creative, strategic, analytical and organisational skillsPossess strong business acumen and outstanding communication skillsAbility to work autonomously, be self-motivated, and function effectively as a team playerMaintain calmness under pressure and effectively find solutionsBe dependable and trustworthyAbility to multitask and maintain a big-picture perspectiveFlexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and eveningsHow to Apply:
