There is emphasis on ongoing development of services to meet the needs of our patients.About the Team/Service/LocationThe busy service provides over 3,000 endoscopy procedures per year and approximately 2,000 outpatient appointments.
The team currently comprises three gastroenterologists and a team of nurses led by two registered nurses with extensive gastroenterology outpatient and endoscopy experience.
We have a very active and involved group of medical and surgical specialists here and a very collegial atmosphere exists.Ruakopito is our newly built state-of-the-art facility, on the campus in Hastings, which means all our patient-based gastroenterology services are housed in one place providing two procedure rooms, patient recovery, resource and administration areas, clinic spaces, and meeting rooms.We have no doubt that you will love everything Hawke's Bay has to offer.
