This role requires a seasoned writer with a proven track record in eCommerce marketing, who can take ownership of high-impact projects and work seamlessly across teams. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative brilliance, and a passion for results-driven copy to push Shakti's marketing to the next level. You'll play a critical role in driving creative storytelling, performance marketing, and customer experience, ensuring that every touchpoint reinforces Shakti's position as a category leader.

• Ad Copywriting Support:
  • Write compelling copy for Facebook, Instagram, and other paid media ads.
  • Develop and refine Shakti's paid media messaging strategy, ensuring our ads resonate with different audience segments. Collaborate with the creative and digital ads team to identify high-performing messaging angles and iterate on successful formats.
  • Contribute to creating ad-testing hypotheses and documenting learnings.
• Content Development:
  • Craft engaging landing page copy for new conversion funnels (advertorials, listicles, product-specific pages).
  • Write UGC ad scripts that blend storytelling with authenticity.
  • Assist in repurposing UGC into high-converting paid ads.
• Community Outreach:
  • Collaborate with the Community team to create outreach emails and scripts for partnerships, influencers, and content creators.
  • Write scripts & content outlines for live events and collaborations, focusing on Shakti Shala (our app)
  • Develop narratives for community-driven projects and partnerships.
• Product Storytelling:
  • Craft copy for new product packaging and unboxing experiences.
  • Collaborate with our Lead Copywriter to write descriptions, landing page and product page copy.
• Guest Experience & Customer Journey:
  • Take ownership of critical touchpoints in the customer journey, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
  • Ensure a cohesive voice across all touchpoints to enhance guest experience.
• Partner with the lead copywriter, designers, and other team members to elevate Shakti's brand storytelling.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and projects.

• Skills and Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in copywriting, with a focus on eCommerce, retail, or health/wellness brands.
  • Proven track record of producing high-ROI campaigns, including Unicorn ads or equivalent (ads that scale and sustain significant spend).
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to switch between storytelling, educational, and conversion-driven styles.
  • Knowledge of landing page optimization, email marketing strategy, and content planning.
  • Ability to create compelling narratives for diverse channels (ads, landing pages, emails, packaging, community).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies (e.g., UGC integration, ad performance metrics).
• Personal Attributes:
  • Deep understanding of customer psychology and storytelling in marketing.
  • Proactive and organized, able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Creative thinker who embraces challenges and experimentation.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Familiarity with tools Google Docs, Slack (internal team messaging platform), Omnisend (or other email marketing platforms) and Monday.com (Project management software).
  • Basic understanding of analytics to measure content performance.
  • Native English speaker with an eagle eye for spelling and grammar.

You'll be at the heart of Shakti's marketing, shaping the brand's storytelling while working closely with teams that drive growth. You'll collaborate with Performance Marketing to craft high-converting ad campaigns, partner with Community to engage our audience authentically, and work alongside Product to elevate packaging and brand messaging.
