The Role Asthe Director of Software Engineering for Leapfrog, Seequent's market-leading 3Dgeologic modelling product, and Volsung, Seequent's advanced geothermalsimulation software, you will ensure the software development process runsseamlessly.
Your leadership will drive the production of high-quality andreliable solutions, delivered on time and perfectly aligned with market needs.
Playa pivotal role in strategic planning and execution for Seequent's largestrevenue product line, serving the Civil, Energy, Environmental, and Miningsectors.
You will have the opportunity to oversee the successful transition ofour desktop products to hybrid solutions, leveraging cloud services forenhanced user experiences.
As a motivator and leader, you'll inspire softwareteams, guiding the development process and fostering enthusiastic collaborationacross all teams at Seequent.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Leadstrategic and technical leadership in crafting cutting-edge desktopsoftware products and innovate cloud services.
Champion theimplementation, measurement, and continuous enhancement of dynamic,empowered teams.
Strategicallyprioritise and allocate feature development and quality assurance workwithin the team.
Orchestratethe coordination of the testing process and leading quality assurancealong with automated testing of the products.
Collaboratewith the architecture teams to shape the direction of products architecturedirection, leveraging Evo-enabled capabilities for deeper integration.
Monitordelivery progress and communicate changes with clarity and precision.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
Minimum of10 Years of Experience as a Software Engineering Manager within acommercial software organisation.
Tertiarylevel qualification in Software Engineering or related scientificdisciplines would be highly desirable.
Extensiveexperience with agile development methodologies.
Stronganalytical, leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability tooperate as a coach and mentor.
Strongrelationship development and presenting skills.
