Own the challenge:
Spend at least 30% of your time on customer sites across New Zealand and Australia, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing cutting-edge EV charging technology.Work from Home Base:
Use your home in Auckland or Hamilton as a strategic base when not on-site, balancing autonomy with regular connection to a high-performing team.Be the problem solver:
Manage and resolve system issues, both onsite and remotely, ensuring chargers exceed 99% operational uptime and delivering exceptional service outcomes for customers.Drive excellence:
Lead the way in maintaining service readiness, from lifting and handling 27kg power modules to upholding impeccable health and safety standards in every task.
Maintain and stock your company service vehicle, ensuring it's always ready for action.Contribute to innovation:
Bring sharp insights to the R&D team by providing actionable feedback, refining processes, and crafting service policies.
Your meticulous approach to documentation keeps processes seamless and forward-thinking.Be service-ready:
Thrive in a dynamic and responsive role, being available for on-call work, including weekends and after-hours, to deliver rapid, high-quality service that drives our mission forward.What you'll bring:
Technical expertise:
You're an EWRB Registered Electrician with hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
You thrive on diagnosing and resolving technical challenges, ready to dive into power electronics and HV switching (or eager to be trained).Adaptability and resilience:
You thrive in a dynamic start-up environment, excelling under pressure, managing competing priorities, and embracing opportunities for travel across New Zealand and Australia.Exceptional communication:
