Measuring social impact can be difficult, confusing, and expensive. ImpactLab has developed an innovative methodology to bring transparency to social investment, by linking charity data to the best global evidence and publicly available national datasets.

ImpactLab is a start up with ambitious growth plans. We have assembled an exceptional team with backgrounds across the government, nonprofit and private sectors in NZ and internationally.

Since the company was founded in 2019, we have worked with 100 + charities including Cure Kids, Auckland City Mission and Barnardos.

We are looking for a mission driven Impact Analyst with the skillset to join our team on delivering research and analytics for our customers, helping them to do good, better. You will be equipped to play a part in making investment work better for communities through delivering our GoodMeasure product applying our standardised Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodologies.

This role can be based in our Auckland or Wellington offices.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn, embrace, and deeply understand our critical path to successfully deliver our GoodMeasure methodology for customers
Accurately apply ImpactLab's standardised SROI methodology to customer projects
Deliver high-quality research and analysis that informs and supports the GoodMeasure process
Lead specialised workshops with customers, ensuring exceptional facilitation and customer experience while supporting the methodology
Ensure accuracy of data inputs to SROI models, using operational, financial, and proprietary data sources
Engage in collaborative decision-making and quality control processes to ensure sound judgment in SROI analyses
Combine all of the above to deliver the GoodMeasure process from start to finish for your customers. This role is autonomous, yet highly collaborative and supported
Contribute to product and process improvements, supporting ImpactLab's methodology and delivery model
Positively contribute to the ImpactLab brand externally and internally, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace culture

Analytical skills and the ability to connect data to real-world situations
Cultural awareness and the ability to build rapport with clients
Strong interest in developing and applying standardised methodologies
Excellent conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency/comfortable with statistical concepts
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
