We're searching for an inspiring and results-driven Head of Channels to lead our fundraising sales and supporter acquisition efforts, driving the growth of our one-off cash donation and pledge-based giving programmes, as well as a growing bequests strategy.
Reporting to the Marketing & Engagement Director, you'll play a pivotal role in designing journeys that connect with New Zealanders, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time through innovative and data-driven strategies.
Your expertise in D2C subscription sales or fundraising strategies and experience in mass audience engagement will enable you to lead with vision and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership :
Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated channel strategy to drive income growth and donor acquisition through multi-channel approaches, including direct marketing (email and DM), face-to-face retail sales, tele-fundraising, digital campaigns, website, and social media.
Team Leadership :
Lead and empower the direct marketing, face-to-face retail & tele-fundraising, and Bequest teams to achieve exceptional results.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
Data-driven Campaign Oversight :
Drive best-in-class campaigns leveraging data analytics and customer insights to deliver personalised supporter journeys that achieve measurable results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner closely with the Marketing, Digital, and Data teams to align messaging and optimise supporter journeys.
Leads acquisition and management:
Oversee leads generation and management across the organisation, ensuring prospective donors are nurtured, supported and valued throughout their engagement with World Vision.
External Relationships :
Manage partnerships with external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns, ensuring they remain on budget and on time while meeting ambitious KPIs.
Financial Management :
Proficient at managing budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximum ROI.

About you:
We're seeking a dynamic leader with:
A strong track record in driving D2C subscription sales or fundraising strategies, ideally within industries such as telco, insurance, energy, utilities, or SaaS.
Proven expertise in designing engaging customer journeys that deliver results in revenue growth and donor acquisition.
A results-driven, action-oriented mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
Team leadership experience and the ability to foster a growth-oriented team culture, empowering others to excel.
Excellent strategic thinking and collaboration skills, with experience partnering across teams to deliver unified outcomes.
Skilled in contract negotiations and supplier/agency partnerships deriving optimal value for World Vision.
Highly curious, thriving on analysing data and testing opportunities, constantly striving to optimise each channel and campaign.
A heart for humanitarian work and alignment with World Vision's Christian values.
