Automotive Employment NZ has been awarded Sourcr 2024 Automotive Agency of the Year.We are seeking a visionary General Manager of Parts and Accessories to lead this parts and accessories division, driving growth, operational excellence, and team development.The roleThis is a leadership role managing and overseeing 3 dealerships covering 15 brands and a budding aftermarket 4x4 accessories range.
The current team is very strong, has the right people in the right positions, providing excellent support for the General Manager of parts to work on the business more often than in it.Duties and accountabilities:
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal inventory levels, streamlined logistics, and efficient supply chain management.Inspire, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, promoting a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.Oversee budgets, pricing strategies, and financial performance, ensuring adherence to company targets.Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share goals for the parts and accessories division.Requirements for the roleProven automotive experience in a leadership role.Inventory management experience.The ability to motivate and lead a team.The ability to drive profitability in the business.DMS Experience and proficiency - Pentana experience would be highly advantageous.An extended job description is available upon request.The challenge and rewardsThe franchise operations require high standards of service delivery and professionalism.
In keeping with the desire to appoint an applicant of calibre, an attractive remuneration package is designed to reward the applicant toward the top end of roles in the region.An attractive salary will pair with overall remuneration targeted towards AUD$130k - AUD$160k plus.
