Account Manager, Soren Liv Trade Showroom

This role is being recruited by Outsourced Personnel - Whanganui's boutique recruitment agency specialising in skilled administration placements.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for B2B sales.
Key clients include interior designers, homebuilders (show homes), apartment projects, hotel projects and boutique retailers.
The key purpose of this role is to provide excellent client support to ensure sales are maximised whilst maintaining and developing positive, sustainable relationships.
Soren Liv enjoys a discerning and varied client base so a professional, polished, and positive attitude, alongside first-class communication skills is essential.

Experience in a similar B2B role is essential.
Ideally you will have an affinity with interior design and designers and be motivated to follow a career path in the interiors industry.

Above all, you will have a genuine passion for sales and an understanding of interiors, together with an engaging customer presence that is second to none.
Key responsibilities:
Tracking sales KPI's and analysing client account performance.Selling and communicating with clients face-to-face, over the phone and via email enquiries.Commitment to build strong and mutually beneficial client relationships.Act as an advisor / consultant to provide solutions to client's problems and enquiries.Gain and retain in-depth product knowledge (internal and supplier training plus mentoring provided).Suggest and implement marketing initiatives to increase sales (in collaboration with sales manager and design manager).Assist with showroom displays, presentation, labelling and general neatness as required.Arrange and send product samples for clients as requested.Create and follow up on quotes, place orders, and manage emails.Keep up to date with internal training requirements and complete any training modules as required.Technical competencies:
Proven track record in B2B sales.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 365.Proven administration skill set - ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.Strong sales acumen - personable, persuasive style and able to build rapport quickly.Ability to develop excellent relationships with discerning clients.Ability to work well and stay calm under pressure in a busy working environment.Experience in a similar role is an advantage.An affinity with design, colour, high-end furniture an advantage.Personal competencies:
